Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2004. The strength of the department is the availability of well experienced faculty and supporting staff. The major objective of the department is to help the students achieve their goals by providing in-depth knowledge in fundamental courses and getting them exposed to latest technologies. It also aims to improve the personality of students by making them part of different training programmes. The labs are equipped with state of the art facilities so as to enable the students learn high-end technologies.More emphasis to open source software for various lab sessions. The entire lab facility use Linux Terminal Server Project (LTSP) that facilitates maximum utilization of the available machines. Mentioning about our achievements, in the year 2014, Akash G.J of our department has bagged the 1st Rank in B.Tech Computer Science Examination. Also, the department has developed the software for on-demand video of Kerala Legislative Assembly and is involved in webcasting the same.
